Warner Bros. Second Century Project

West Olive Ave.
Expected Completion: 2023

The 800,000-square-foot office building complex will consist of a seven-story building of approximately 355,000 square feet and a nine-story building of approximately 445,000 square feet. Reflecting Warner Bros.’ commitment to sustainability and environmental responsibility, the buildings will be built to LEED Certification standards. First Street Village

First Street and Magnolia Boulevard
Estimated completion: 2021
Status: Approved

A proposed project at First Street between Magnolia Boulevard and the alley southeast of Palm Avenue that includes:

  • Six-story buildings with 275 multifamily apartments on the upper floors
  • Up to 18,876 square-feet of retail and commercial space on the ground floors
  • On-site amenities and open space area will be included

LaTerra SELECT BURBANK

777 Front St (Zero Site)
Status: To be considered by City Council in late Fall 2019

A mixed-use project with 573 residential (rental) units, a hotel with 307 rooms, and 1,067 sq. ft. of ground floor retail space on a vacant 7-acre site. The residential portion is proposed to be an 8-story podium building with one level of underground parking; hotel will be a 7-story building.

Premier on First

Status: To be considered by City Council in mid 2020

Mixed-use project with a 19-story hotel building with:

  • 314 hotel rooms with a rooftop bar and a ground-floor restaurant
  • Mixed-use 7-story building with 108 apartments and 1,800 SF of retail/restaurant space on two acres

Status: Approved
Expected Construction Date: Winter 2019

  • The project proposes a single 6-story hotel with 196 rooms, approximately 3,800 sq. ft. of hotel restaurant space on ground floor
  • Three levels of subterranean parking
  • Proposed amenities include a fitness center, lounge/library area, pool/ spa deck, an outdoor courtyard, and rooftop viewing deck

Avion Burbank

3001 N Hollywood Way - Adjacent to Hollywood Burbank Airport.
Expected Construction Date: Summer 2019

A new business park located on approximately 61.5 acres that will include:

  • Six, 2-story tall industrial/warehouse buildings totaling more than 1 million sq. ft.
  • Nine, 2-story creative office buildings totaling 142,250 sq.ft.
  • Two, 1- story retail/restaurant buildings of approximately 15,000 sq. ft.
  • A 150-room hotel.

ALOFT and Residence Inn Hotels

Expected Completion: To be determined

A proposed seven (7) story dual-brand hotel that would be operated by Aloft Hotels and Residence Inn. The hotel will consist of 420 hotel rooms – 219 hotel rooms operated by Aloft and 201 hotel rooms operated by Residence Inn. The City is currently conducting the required environmental assessment to prepare an Environmental Impact Report for the Project.

Status: Approved

The project proposes a single 13-story building (approximately 170 ft. high), with a total of 40 apartments, approximately 3,730 sq. ft. of retail/restaurant space on the ground floor, and two levels of subterranean parking. All apartment units have two bedrooms, and range in size between 1,262 to 1,430 sq. ft. each.

Burbank Town Center

Status: to be considered by Burbank City Council in 2020

A 37-acre site that would include the demolition of approximately 200,000 SF of retail buildings. It will be replaced with:

  • Up to 1,165 residential units
  • 69,960 SF of new retail, and
  • A 200 room hotel.

3401 W Olive Avenue

This 241 unit luxury complex is Burbank’s first residential building that is LEED Certified. A state-of-the-art Whole Foods Market anchors the ground level with 43,000 sq. ft. of retail space.

Airport Replacement Terminal

Status: 2024- Replacement Terminal opens. Demolition of existing terminal completed within 12 months of replacement terminal operations.

The plans include:
• 355,000 SF Replacement Terminal
• 14 gates
• New Public Parking Structure
• New Employee Parking
• Demolition of Existing Terminal
• Taxiway Extensions

Burbank Common

10 West Magnolia Blvd and 5 West Olive Ave
Status: To be considered by City Council in Winter 2020

A proposed dining and entertainment venue in Downtown Burbank that would demolish the former Americold, cold storage facility. It would include: a 33,000 SF event space; 19,000 SF of restaurant, café, brewpub, retail and special event space; and 47,000 SF of open space.

 

 

Providence Saint Joseph ER and Urgent Care Project

Expected Completion: Summer 2022

The anticipated renovation of Providence Saint Joseph ER and Urgent Care will include:

  • A new one-story, 34,500 square foot (44 bed) Emergency Department (ER);
  • A new one-story, 8,500 square foot (12 bed) Urgent Care; and
  • Other site improvements, such as new pedestrian sidewalks, midblock crossings, and new landscaping.

Warner Bros. Tour Center

4000 Warner Blvd, Building 147
Anticipated Completion Date: late Summer 2019

Warner Bros. is proposing a new 79,800 sq. ft. building that will house space for a new studio tour center and parking for 961 cars above grade and an approximately 25,000 sq. ft. subterranean garage for the parking of 90 electrical tour carts.  The new building is located on the studio’s Main Lot on the south side of Warner Avenue between Avon and Lima Streets.

Burbank Channel Bikeway

Victory Boulevard to Downtown Burbank Metrolink Station
Expected Completion: Summer 2020

The Burbank Channel Bikeway is a Class 1 (off-street) bike and pedestrian path that runs along the Burbank-Western Flood Control Channel, a tributary of the Los Angeles River. Phase I of the Project was completed in 2011 and extends from Victory Boulevard to Alameda Avenue. The City of Burbank is completing the design for Phase II of the project, which would extend the path from Alameda Avenue to the Downtown Burbank Metrolink Station. Click here for more information.
