Entrepreneur Training Series:

Join ICON CDC and Burbank Public Library for this 7-week course teaching you everything you need to know about starting and sustaining a business. ICON CDC (Initiating Change in Our Neighborhoods Community Development Corporation) presents a proven, community-based curriculum designed to equip aspiring business owners with the tools, knowledge, and confidence to successful launch and operate a small business. This is a hybrid in person/online 7-week program.

Flyer for the ICON CDC Entrepreneur Training Program, a free community-based program for aspiring small-business owners. Classes are held Tuesdays from October 6 through November 17 at Burbank Central Library, 110 N. Glenoaks Blvd., from 6–8 p.m., with an in-person or Zoom option. Topics include business planning, licenses and permits, taxes and bookkeeping, marketing and branding, human resources, access to capital, and graduation. FILM BURBANK
The City of Burbank recently launched Film Burbank, a citywide marketing campaign celebrating Burbank’s legacy as the Media Capital of the World and spotlighting the entertainment professionals, productions, and creative businesses that make our city thrive!  For additional guidance on the City’s film permit process, access to production and educational resources, and details on the advantages of working and creating in Burbank, please visit: Film Burbank.

Led by experts from SCORE, a nonprofit organization and a resource partner of the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA), a broad range of topics are available for mentorship including:
