Burbank Entrepreneurship Programming

Untapped  Academy Burbank (Academy): January – June 2023
In partnership with Untapped Ventures, the City of Burbank Economic Development Department is debuting a new entrepreneurship program. The Academy is a self-serve online program with world-class playbooks and tools allowing entrepreneurs to consume content and work at their own pace. In addition to online courses and tools, the Academy will provide on-going support to local entrepreneurs including monthly group coaching calls and workshops. The Academy seeks to benefit early-stage startups and founders in building successful venture-scale ‘ready to launch’ startups. Program qualification details will be released in December.

Burbank Tech Talks – January/February 2023
Your favorite Burbank entrepreneurship programs are back and in-person! Events will cover topics including how launch your new businesses venture, and gaining capital funding. The first two events of the year are planned for January and February, stay tuned for dates and details on networking and educational opportunities to help you launch your new businesses venture.

Startup.Burbank Pitchfest – June 2023
The 5th Annual Startup.Burbank Pitch Fest returns in 2023!

Entrepreneurs will take the stage to pitch their startups and receive feedback and mentoring from an expert panel of judges. Winners will receive a variety of mentoring and business consulting services including an in-kind sponsorship of $5,000 in Product/Market Fit coaching, playbooks, and tools from Untapped. Applications will be released in early 2023.
